Here are some tips for your next ski vacation in New Zealand.
• to save money up front you will need to pay for tickets, food, domestic travel and accommodation. If you plan to visit for a long time, then you can think of a Working Holiday, so you accept a job so you can fund.
• A good idea is to order your tickets at least one month in advance so you can get a better deal. Most airlines have big discounts and privileges, if you plan your trip, and then watch them closely. You can also see great non-stop flight is sometimes difficult. So, now booking!
• Ensure that you have a passport valid for 3 months after the date of departure of New Zealand. This is important, or you can reject your visa, it will be a complete joy to kill.
• You can not work regular tourist visa applications require completely different. You can search for New Zealand embassy or consulate when you go to apply for a visa. Advance to implement other wise you might lose the opportunity (or flight, I would say).
• Make sure that you start flying to New Zealand ski season, so you can start looking for work, and soon there will be more job than later. Very difficult to find work abroad, so you may want to keep an open mind, a lot of different possibilities. A neat trick is the job located in the mountainside. I mean, the slope of the operating company, so you get free transportation to the mountain.
• carry your skis and ski equipment from home, you will find the ski equipment is not cheap, New Zealand.
• Make sure you pack correctly. I mean, right clothes, and your warm woolies. Winter in the South Island where most of the ski area needed to be a killer.
• If you want to rent a car, then make sure that you have a valid New Zealand, Australia or England international driver’s license. You need at least 21 years old and remember the New Zealand driving on the left.
